My goal:
independent working in the workshop and learning how the ins and outs of owning a studio
The context:
4-months as a freelancer, at social design agency de Reuringdienst

What I did:
I helped with a campaign for SIZO; wooden interventions, videos and a poster campaign were realised by me. I also overnighted for a few weeks in breezy Vlissingen to help build a life-size purple wheelhouse, which was part of a conversation campaign organised by the municipality.

What I learned:
being able to use pretty much the entire workshop (except, unfortunately, the welding machine and the setting bench) without supervision. The incredible preparation required for projects; from networking drinks to material sourcing and from planning to toilet rental. The importance and fun of collaborating with other studios, for example through Kadeclubhuis and the ‘Social Design Lobby’

Still a bit unclear, but interested anyways? Please contact me!
