My goal:
After 2,5 years of hardcore thinking on Uni, learning more about actual ‘making’
The context:
Half-year bachelor internship at art-studio KikiandJoost
What I did:
I spent my time in the workshop painting, sanding and plastering. I searched for the ‘perfect shape’ by creating hundreds of scale models. And after days of practice made complex 3D models for the shop windows of fashion brand Hermes
What I learned:
Wood- and steel-working, and the patience required for it. The basics of casting and turning ceramics. All possible shortcuts for Rhino3D. And last but not least; an aversion to gallery owners and art fairs.
Still a bit unclear, but interested anyways? Please contact me!
